Dr S Jaishankar, Hon’ble External Affairs Minister of India has kindly consented to inaugurate the Dialogue and deliver the keynote address on November 16, 2020 at 11 am. Shri Hardeep Singh Puri, Hon’ble Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs (I/C), Government of India will deliver the valedictory keynote address at 2:45 pm. Shri K T Rama Rao, Hon’ble Minister for Industries and Commerce, Government of Telangana will deliver a special address.
The 3rd edition of Deccan Dialogue will focus on two important areas for discussion – on Healthcare Diplomacy and on Atmanirbhar Bharat. Shri Sunil Kant Munjal, Member, ISB Executive Board and Chairman, Hero Enterprises; Ambassador Rahul Chhabra, IFS, Secretary Economic Relations, MEA; Prof Rajendra Srivastava, Dean, ISB; Dr Sangita Reddy, President, FICCI and JMD, Apollo Hospitals Ltd.; Ms Debjani Ghosh, President, NASSCOM.; Dr Krishna Ella, CMD, Bharat Biotech International Ltd., Ambassador Ron Malka, Israel Ambassador to India, amongst many others will address at Deccan Dialogue 2020. The theme for the third edition is ‘Crisis and Cooperation: Imperatives in the times of the Pandemic’. The objective is to explore ways and means to address the crisis through various diplomatic efforts of cooperation and talk in detail on the pertinent issues faced by the world order. In the post Covid scenario, what could be some better strategies to address future global healthcare challenges? How do we build a self-reliant India? are some important questions that the current edition will be discussing. The dialogue will have participation from various business leaders, CXOs, Professionals, Students, Government Officials, among others.
