Minister for Municipal Administration and IT K Taraka Rama Rao today advocated that there should be more she toilers in the state. He was making a review on the sanitation in the state in all the municipalities.
He was talking to the officials here at the state Secretariat. KTR suggested to the officials there should be a review on the cleanliness and also the Maintainance of roads from time time.
KTR also talked to all the district collectors and suggested that there should be dump yards in all the districts as per the requirement.KTR wanted the collectors to come up with a detailed report on the status of the sanitation in the districts.
He also suggested that the greenery must increase in the districts. Ten per cent of the funds should be allocated for the greenery apart from sanitation and other works he said.
The dry and wet garbage must be selected separately and treated he said. The new municipalities must also get equipped with the required resources and works he said.
All the public places like Petrol bunks, offices and also hotels must have toilets he said. The provision for she toilets should also be made specifically he ordered.
