KTR says TRS is ready....

While the BJP has had a long and reasonable presence in Telangana and the Modi wave could help it considerably, political analysts are sceptical about the party coming to power on its own in the absence of leaders and winnable candidates in most of the assembly constituencies.

Amidst widespread speculation and signs that the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) may opt for assembly polls much ahead of the scheduled May 2019, the BJP is readying a strategy to sweep Telangana it is reported. It has started luring top leaders from other political parties.

The BJP strategists have conveyed to TS BJP to severe ties with the TDP in Telangana and go it alone It is reported. On the other hand in AP there is scope that the TDP-BJP and JanaSena combine might join together to trounce YSRCP. The Congress is no where in AP.The BJP won five assembly and one Parliament seats in Telangana in 2014, while ally TDP got 15 assembly and one Parliament seats.

The BJP leadership now considers TDP a major liability in Telangana, even as it hopes to consolidate on its own.

The BJP is preparing for a spectacular deployment of its resources in Telangana, including National leaders, cadres, central ministers, apart from rallies by Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “The party has started meeting people in groups on caste lines. That is what they did in UP.

Union minister M Venkaiah Naidu launched an attack on quota for Muslims: “Dr Ambedkar opposed reservations on religious basis, which leads to conversions. Conversions cause social tensions and communal disharmony.
Appeasement politics should come to an end he opined.

KCR argued in the Assembly that the proposed reservation is not based on religion but aimed at helping the socially and economically weaker sections.

It looks as if all the parties are working towards an early poll in Telangana.
