K Taraka Rama Rao the working President of the TRS and the Minister said that he is responsible for winning a maximum number of seats in the municipal elections under the dynamic leadership of K Chandrasekhar Rao the Chief Minister of Telangana.

He agreed that it is like a referendum and the development is the plank for winning the election. The new Municipal act is people friendly and it would reduce the corruption to the maximum extent.
That will definitely give the TRS the required edge. There is no proper opposition in the state and there is no competition for the election he said.

The disgruntled elements in the party will be cajoled and they will be rewarded after the election with the nominated posts he explained. KTR is working from the front while KCR is strategising and monitoring the election from behind.

KCR is getting the reports from the ground level on day to day basis. He is also coordinating with the senior leaders and trying hard to get the majority of seats.

KCR also has warned the MLAs and Ministers that they will face the music if the TRS loses the election in their respective areas. The responsibility has already been fixed.

Congress is giving some fight here and there but the BJP is nowhere. The TRS has got some wards on a unanimous basis. It looks like the TRS has edge across the state and there is no alternative.
The election atmosphere is back in the state after 7 months.
