Reminding of the IDPL company, they used to call it as Idly, Dosa, Puri, and Laddu(IDPL). After launching the KCR breakfast program here for the school students, he read out the menu and told the students that they must report to him if they dont get it.
This is a soft launch he said.
Students from one to ten will get breakfast. This will be useful and relief to the parents who go to work early in the morning. The leaders must come for breakfast now and then report on the quality of the food he suggested.
KTR participated in the school located at West Maredpally. KTR also tasted the food here during breakfast and opined that it was tasty and nutritious.
Around 25000 schools will get this breakfast and the students have to come to the school one hour ahead of the scheduled time. KCR has agreed to this program with a human angle where no other state is doing he stated.
Twenty lakh students will benefit from this breakfast. Minister for Education Sabitha Indra Reddy was also happy that they could launch this food program for the school children.
KCR was supposed to launch this program, but he has a viral fever for the last ten days. The Ministers have launched the program in different schools.
The menu is also being changed on a daily basis. The government expects that breakfast will definitely increase the attendance of the students in the schools.
The midday meal has improved attendance in government schools and breakfast in addition it will further improve attendance. There is a talk that as the elections are fast approaching, the BRS Government will add some more welfare schemes for the poor.
