K Taraka Rama Rao the Minister for IT launched Ikea the stores for household furniture and other goods at hi-tech city Hyderabad.
He was happy that Ikea a multinational brand has come up in Hyderabad and has all the items at International quality. He complimented the Ikea management for setting up the shop at such a short time.
Ikea is located in 13 acres of land and 4 lakh square foot space with about 1000 crore investment. Ikea is ready to invest more than 10000 crore in India in the coming years it is reported. The store is completely lighted with LED. The Ikea Hyderabad has the biggest restaurant when compared to other stores. You have items in Ikea right from Rs 200.
The stores will be open from 10 Am in the morning to 11 in the night. When it comes to textiles and clothes most of them are made from pure cotton and or best quality. More than 2000 employees are employed directly and indirectly with this stores.
It is a different experience here in Hyderabad and is supposed to give a stiff competition to other furniture and furnishing stores.

Ikea group CEO Jasper and India CEO accompanied the IT minister during the inauguration and went around the stores explaining him about the speciality in furnishings and also the special furniture.
