KTR opens BOSCH facility in Hyderabad

Telangana has become the prime attraction for investments from various sectors said KTR the Minister for IT and Industries.

He was addressing the launch of the Bosh company here in Hyderabad.

Its key focus is on artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, computer vision, and other new technologies.

During a meeting with the leadership team of Bosch, the IT minister Rama Rao welcomed the company to Telangana.

KTR said Telangana has the best talent pool and infrastructure. Earlier, many companies recruited more employees than they announced initially, he said.

Rama Rao tweeted, “BOSCH in Hyderabad! German MNC & a world leader in Mobility, Industrial Engineering & Home Appliances has chosen Hyderabad as a strategic location with its Bosch Global Software Technologies and R&D presence. The proposed facility will provide employment to about 3,000 people.”

“Bosch came to Kolkata in 1922, exactly 100 years ago. Bosch software and R&D division came to Bengaluru in 1997, or 25 years ago. For the first time thence, the company decided to set up their facility in Hyderabad with a large presence in IT, engineering, and R&D, he said.

KTR added, “This stands as a testimony to the visionary leadership, able administration and industry friendly policies of the Telangana government.” A formal launch event will be done by Bosch soon.

Bosch Global Software Technologies vice president, centre head, Kiran Sundara Raman, was present at the meeting along with IT principal secretary Jayesh and senior officials from the IT department.
