Minister for Municipal Administration K T Rama Rao today launched the Command control centre at Gachchbowli. He was accompanied by Minister for Home Mohamood Ali, Minister for Education Sabitha Indra Reddy Mayor Bonthu Rammohan and others.
This is part of Safe and Smart city program where thousands of CC cameras can be monitored. CP Sajjanar presided over the function. DGP Mahendar Reddy was also present where he greeted the Ministers and other guests.
This was done as per the mission to have the best law and order in Telangana City said the DGP Mahendar Reddy. The Citizens should be safe and secured across the state especially in the city of Hyderabad.
The DGP said that the investments in Hyderabad were growing in a big way and that there was every need for improving the security and law order in the state.
Over one lakh cameras can be monitored across the city from this command control and can view 15000 cameras at a time, the DGP explained. This is part of vision of the Chief Minister KCR he said.
This centre is outcome of the Technology integration in various forms he said. Cyber offenders must be controlled and for that we need the upgradation of technology especially in terms of IT he said.
The response time in Hyderabad city from the police is just 5 minutes the DGP explained. This can also be used for integrated Traffic management he said.
The Artificial intelligence will also be integrated to reduce the time of investigation of a crime he said.
