Minister KTR does a year-end #AskKTR session where he interacted with the Twitterati on a wide range of topics. Throwing the platform open, Minister KTR earlier tweeted, “It’s been a while since we interacted. Let’s do a year-end #AskKTR today at 4 pm IST. I look forward to seeing you at 4 pm.”
During the session, KTR answered questions related to governance, politics, infrastructure, and development that took place in Telangana.
Talking about the Telangana government’s stand on CAA, he said, “Hon’ble CM and the cabinet will take the call at an appropriate time and thanks for welcoming our decision to vote against CAA.” When asked about giving permissions to anti and pro CAA protests in the city, KTR said, “This is a city where both RSS and AIMIM held meetings within few days.”
When asked about tackling BJP playing communal card to strengthen their position in Telangana, KTR stated that people of Telangana are smart enough to give a fitting answer to such divisive agendas.
When asked if the Central government is diverting citizens from unemployment and economic slowdown, he said, “Diversionary tactics can only work temporarily but in the long run governments will have to answer tough questions about job creation and economy.”
Answering serious questions related to revenue and MA&UD dept, he said, “The new municipal act is an excellent tool to take out individual discretion from municipal employees and institutionalize changes to benefit citizens. Will work with my team to ensure effective implementation.”
