On the eve of the Telangana Liberation day, K Taraka Rama Rao has hoisted the Nation Flag here at the party office. It may be noted that there was a demand from the BJP that the Liberation day should be celebrated by the Government officially.
KCR the Chief Minister has announced in the Assembly that people can do whatever they want and that the Government will not stop them. They can take processions also he suggested.
There was a plan that BJP chief Amit Shah would come to Hyderabad for the Liberation day celebrations, but it was cancelled. Now the BJP leaders Laxman, Union Minister Kishan Reddy and others are doing the Liberation day here in the city.
Minister Mahmood Ali, Srinivas Goud and others participated in the liberation day here today at the TRS Bhavan. People expected some tension here in the city as Amit shah would be coming to the city. But KCR the CM has taken the sting out of the event, by saying that they can do whatever they want.
