K Taraka Rama Rao the Minister for IT has always been in the forefront in getting the investments for Telangana in a big way. This time he has mobilized investments to the tune of 21000 crore which is huge.
In this fact we can say that KTR is no less than the former CM Nara Chandra Babu Naidu. Like Chandrababu KTR being the Minister for Municipal administration has also developed Hyderabad in a big way.
As per the IT Ministry handle, KTR and team took part in 52 business meetings, six round table conferences and two panel discussions.
Summing up all these, the state has bagged Rs 21,000 crore in investments and some big names like Microsoft, AirTel have signed MoUs with the Telangana government.
Minister KTR thanked his team and IT ministry principal secretary Jayesh Rajan for the support in Davos.Now Amazon has also announced the expansion in Hyderabad.

At a juncture where the global economy is on the brink of recession, Telangana managed to bag some big-ticket investments. Telangana delegation was successful in showcasing the state as a global investment destination and gateway to India. The Telangana pavilion has grabbed the attention of many top companies with representatives of several global organisations visiting the stall.
Telangana pavilion presented information regarding Telangana’s geography, investments it attracted in the last eight years and initiatives of IT and Industry departments such as T-Hub and T-Works. Videos of various government programmes, policies and projects like Kaleshwaram played at the pavilion were a special attraction. The pavilion which was located in the 62nd building on Promenade road, the main thoroughfare of Davos, was abuzz with visitors.
