KTR the working president of the BRS ridiculed the way the Congress Government has been working for the last 9 months. The agenda given before the elections was not implemented he reminded.
They are having internal bickerings and that the leaders were trying to pull down themselves he stated.
The Congress government’s decisions are being described as the ones against the interests of the aspirants, KTR said that were killing the aspirations of thousands of parents who dream of seeing their childrenbecome doctors. He wanted the government to withdraw such decisions in the interest of the students in the State.
Under the BRS regime, Telangana saw a significant increase in the number of medical colleges- from a mere five in the undivided State to 29, a number that was increased further to 34, with a slogan of “Medical College for every district.”
The number of MBBS seats was increased to 8,915, making the State a hub for medical education. He said that the Congress government’s current policies threatened to undermine these achievements.
Stating that the vision of KCR’s administration to make Telangana a “factory of doctors” was being eclipsed by the current government’s failures, he pointed out that the lofty goals set by the previous regime are at risk of being scuttled.
He stressed the urgent need to resolve the admission process while ensuring that the aspirations of thousands of students and parents are not dashed.
