KTR the dynamic minister of Telangana is doing something or the other for the development of Telangana. He is in the forefront in inviting global giants to set up shops in the region especially Hyderabad. After Google and Apple now he has brought in Walmart one of the prestigious business houses.
Global retail giant Walmart has announced opening 10 outlets in Telangana by investing 100 million US dollars. Each outlet will provide 2000 jobs directly or indirectly. Of the ten, five shops alone will be established in Hyderabad.
Walmar the retail chain company has entered an Memorandum of Understanding with Telangana government in the presence of Industry minister KT Rama Rao.
The new stores would include 10 in Telangana, for which the US retailer signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the state government.
Walmart currently has 21 stores in India, including one in Hyderabad. Walmart India, said their focus in South India would be on Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
