Master plans should be in the interest of the people and the development of the region said the Minister for Municipal Administration K Taraka Rama Rao.
He was talking with respect to the agitations in the Kama Reddy opposing the proposed master plan.KTR assured that the Government will not go against the interest of the people and farmers in particular.
If there is any issue it will be corrected assured KTR.
Blaming the suicide of B. Ramulu, a farmer in Kamareddy, over the proposed acquisition of his land for the town master plan, former minister Mohammed Ali Shabbir said that the Congress would support the protesting farmers.
He demanded that the master plan should be scrapped and GO should be issued immediately.
Shabbir Ali said that the state government had issued a notification for the master plan without involving any of the stakeholders.
The BJP on the other hand is also doing a dharna here in front of the collector’s office. MLA Raghunandam also sat on the roads along with the farmers.
BJP Chief Bandi Sanjay is planning to visit the farmers here in Kama Reddy. Bandi Sanjay is all set to lead the party in the coming elections in Telangana.
