Governor Narasimhan and K Taraka Rama Rao the IT Minister today launched the new metro line from Ameerpet to LB Nagar. They reached the station and used the smart bikes being used for the interconnectivity from the metro stations.
Speaking after the launch KTR the minister said that it one of the best and modern metro rails that is being used by the citizens. He said that there is more demand for expansion and that the government was looking into it.
All the metro stations are on par with the International standards he said. The IGBS has given a lot of awards for the metro liner here in Hyderabad KTR explained.
It can compete with the worlds best services and stations he stated. The metro rail is the second biggest in the country he stated. It is also the worlds biggest project with the private and the Government participation KTR said. This is one way we are creating the world class infrastructure to make Hyderabad an International standard city he stated.
There is more to be done for Hyderabad and also for achieving Bangaru Telangana he opined. Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav was also present here during the launch. Governor Narasimhan praised the efforts of the Government and also private parties in making the metro a reality for the people of Hyderabad. This is one way to avoid traffic Congestion and also pollution he opined.
