Rangamarthanda is a good movie. In some ways, it resembles some old movies, but overall it is a good movie. The theme is the importance of parents.
Music director Ilaya Raga as usual has given good music. Prakash Raj and Ramkrishna have done well. Brahmhanandam has done a serious role with all the ease.
Nana Patekar was the hero in the Original Movie and it was remade by Krishnavamsi the director who was in hibernation. The first half is slow, but the second half is good.
Rangamarthanda is a watchable tale of a theatre artist. The movie rides high on the stunning performances of Prakash Raj and Brahmanandam and the drama in the second half. But the predictability factor and sluggish narration will spoil the experience to an extent.
One must see, Rangamarthanda for its emotional quotient. Krishna Vamsi must make some more movies of this kind.
