Komati Reddy Rajgopal Reddy who is all set to join the Congress party is keen to fight against Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao in Gajwel besides his traditional seat of Munugode.
The Congress party would take a final call based on the discussions in the party poll panel and also the internal surveys.
There were unconfirmed reports that three other leaders of the BJP are set to resign from the party and join the Congress, including former MPs G. Vivek Venkataswamy, Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, former MP Vijayashanti, and former MLA Enugu Ravinder Reddy.
But none of the sources could confirm their decision to quit the saffron party. Etela Rajendar is also interested in contesting against KCR in Gajwel.
Shabbir Ali also announced that he would contest against KCR in Kamareddy. All is not well with the BJP in the open and also in the Congress internally.
The BRS is going ahead with the right strategy and the B forms have already been distributed. The wind is blowing for Congress, but will it be able to form the government is the big question.
