There is no chance for one nation one poll as the CEC said that it was not possible due to legal implications said the PM Modi. Koi chance Nahi he remarked on the one time poll.
He was talking to the people on Mann Ki Baat. He said that some parties have agreed for the one time poll and some others have opposed it. But they are making deliberations on that and this is healthy democracy he opined.
He remembered Vajpayee for bringing out so many changes which paved the path to democracy. Vajpayee is a true patriot he said. He praised Vajpayee for bringing in several reforms that curbed the unwanted expenditure for the government.
He said that one-time poll is also envisaged for bringing down the expenditure, but the lawmakers will take a year to complete the formalities for this one nation one poll he stated.
This is the beauty of democracy where the political parties have started discussing on the one-time polls he stated.
