Kohlis fastest 9000

Virat Kohli became the fastest cricketer to complete 9,000 ODI runs, achieving the feat in his 194th innings against New Zealand on Sunday.

Kohli overtook South Africa’s AB de Villiers who had reached 9,000-run mark in his 205th innings. Kohli also surpassed ex-Australian captain Ricky Ponting’s 1,424 runs to slam most ODI runs by a captain in a calendar year.
