TTD Chairman Bhumana Karunakara Reddy said that today’s generation needs to know about the versatility and great literary services of the immortal personality, Sri Gouri Peddi Ramasubba Sharma.
The Chairman graced as the chief guest at the meeting held at Sri Annamacharya Kalamandiram on Sunday in Tirupati on the occasion of the 101st birth anniversary of Sri Gauri Peddi Ramasubba Sharma.
On this occasion, he released a special edition published on the erudite personality.
The TTD Board Chief said Sri Gauri Peddi was one of the eminent people who created wonderful literature.
He said that our ancestors have given us such scholarly power that we can become perfect if we go back to the past once and read it with our heart.
He said that he has tried to introduce such scholarship to today’s generation in the past and he will try again, and this should be done with the cooperation of all. “The youth of this generation should know about such great people to follow the righteous path”, he maintained.
TTD Chairman Sri Bhumana Karunakara Reddy said that Sri Sadhu Subrahmanya Shastri was a great man who translated the inscriptions of the Tirumala Srivari Temple and spread the history of the temple and the glory of Sri Venkateswara Swamy to the world through his impeccable works.
He said Sri Shastry will remain immortal as long as the temple of Srivaru exists.
Speaking on the 42nd death anniversary of the versatile person at Annamacharya Kalamandiram in Tirupati on Sunday the TTD Chairman said that Sri Shastry unearthed and solved more than a thousand inscriptions encripted on the walls of Tirumala temple while serving as a small-level employee in TTD.
