TRS Parliamentary Party Leader Dr K Keshav Rao is appointed as Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Industries.
A notification in this regard is released by the Lok Sabha Secretary-General today. In this committee, there will be 21 Lok Sabha Members and Ten from the Rajya Sabha. Dr Keshav expressed happiness over his appointment as Chairman to this prestigious committee.
Dr Keshav Rao met Honourable Chief Minister in the Legislative Assembly premises and informed the CM about his appointment. The CM presented a shawl to Dr Keshav Rao and congratulated him. Kesava Rao was the senior Congress leader who shifted to TRS in the name of Telangana and was the Rajya Sabha member.
Most of the time he has been in nominated posts and did not win the elections directly.
He could not even win as an MLA. He was a journalist also and was close to late Rajiv Gandhi in the name of Technology mission.
