Union Minister of state for Home Gangapuram Kishan Reddy looked over enthusiastic today in the parliament, while the MPs from Telangana took the oath. He suggested each and every MP to give the slogan Bharat Mata ki Jai after taking the oath.
When MIM chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi took the oath, all the members shouted Bharat Mata ki Jai and Vande Mataram. Waving his hands and smiling, Owaisi wanted the MPs to give more slogans. He took the oath in the name of Bhim and Allah. Owaisi ended the oath with Jai Hind.
Kishan Reddy continued his running commentary as the MPs from Telangana took the oath. Jahirabad MP BB Patil took oath in Hindi and gave the slogan Jai Telangana, Jai Telangana. At this juncture Kishan Reddy suggested Patil to give the slogan Bharat Mata ki Jai.
Later Medak MP Kotha Prabhakar Reddy gave the slogan Jai Telangana and Jai Bharath after he took the oath. Kishan patted him and said very good Prabhakar as appreciation.
Apart from suggesting and pleading with the MPs, Kishan Reddy thumped the desk also for the Telangana MPs. When Bhuvanagiri MP Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy was going for oath taking, Kishan said that he would thump the desk for Venkatreddy as no one from the Congress was bothered to acknowledge the presence of the member.
Venkat Reddy reminded Kishan that he was sitting in the parliament, and Kishan replied that was the reason he was thumping the desk. Then Venkat Reddy gave the slogan Bharat Mata ki Jai as per the suggestion of Kishan Reddy. Kishan was very happy with this gesture.
TRS member Malothu Kavitha shouted the slogan Jai Telangana and Jai Banjara after the oath taking. Kishan requested her to give the slogan for Bharatmatha also. Kishan was involved in one way or the other with the oath taking of the Telangana MPs today in the parliament.
