Minister of State for Home Affairs, G. Kishan Reddy will be visiting the North East states of Assam and Manipur as part of the North East Development initiative introduced by the Government of India in 2015.
On 20th of October, 2019 Hon’ble Minister will be visiting the famous Kamrup- Kamakhya Temple in the morning and will be paying obeisance to the Goddess.
Later in the day he will be interacting with the BoP personnel at Bop Darranga. In the evening the Minister will be addressing the students of IIT Guwahati, on the abrogation of Article 370. In the evening the Hon’ble Minister will meet the Hon’ble CM of Assam, Sarbananda Sonowal at Assam Administrative Staff college.
Next the Minister will reach BSF Frontiers Head Quarters at Patgaon, Guwahati and celebrate Diwali with the BSF jawans.
On the 21st of October, the Minister will take part in the Smriti Parade, Police Commemoration Day Parade of the 4th Assam Battalion in Guwahati as the Chief Guest. Later the Minister will meet His Excellency Jagdish Mukhi at his residence, Raj Bhawan, Guwahati.
In the evening Minister will meet the Governor of Manipur, Her Excellency Dr. Najma Heptulla at her residence, Raj Bhawan, Imphal. Then the Minister will address a meeting with Office Bearers, Morcha Presidents and Senior Leaders from state BJP at the Manipur State BJP Head Office, Imphal.
The Minister will be attending the Sainik Sammelan at the IGAR South Head Quarters of Assam Rifles in Imphal on 22nd of October, 2019.Then he will be attending a Briefing by Director of LPAI at ICP Moreh, Tengnoupal district, Manipur.
Later the Minister will be briefed by COB Cadre, 26 Sector of Assam Rifles at COB Phaisangjang, 28th Rajput, Chandel district, Manipur.
