Union Minister of state for Home Gangapuram Kishan Reddy who has been given more responsibilities in the recent times is all set to launch the Bonalu festival in Telangana Bhavan at New Delhi.
Kishan Reddy being a pure Telanganite knows about the traditional festival Bonalu will launch them here in Delhi. Apart from the regular Bonalu, there will be cultural programs and dinner being organised by the official and the lawmakers here. It is not clearly known if Kavitha the former MPwill be participating in the event.
The festival will be celebrated for 2 days here in Delhi. A photo exhibition is also being organised at the venue. The Ammavari Ghatam will be taken in a procession from Indiagate to Telangana Bhavan, where the pothrajus will perform the teen maar dance with their traditional attire.
Apart from this, a Kavisammelan is also being organised in the Telangana Bhavan on the eve of Bonalu.
President Kovind, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, Senior leader Advani, BJP working President Nadda, Union Ministers Rajnath Singh and Smriti Irani were also invited for the Bonalu celebrations.
This time with the co-operation of Kishan Reddy the celebrations are being done in a big way.
