Former CM of United AP Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy is all set to join the BJP. He will join the BJP on Monday it is learnt. Before that will be addressing the media on quitting the Congress party.

Kiran Kumar Reddy who resigned as the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister earlier after Parliament passed a Bill to bifurcate the State and parted ways with the Congress — was completely overshadowed since his newly-launched Jaisamakiya Andhra Party badly lost the lok Sabha and Assembly elections and drew a blank.

Speculation was continuing for some time that Kiran Kumar Reddy and 30 of his close followers were planning to join the BJP. Kiran hails from the Chittoor district in Andhra Pradesh but was brought up and educated in Hyderabad.

Kishan Reddy, while confirming the meeting with Kiran Kumar, described it as a casual meeting. If speculation turn out to be real, it will be interesting to see whether the former Chief Minister will be part of Seemandhra BJP or Telangana.

Earlier in his election campaign, he had bitterly opposed the State of Telangana. Krains brother has already joined the TDP and his seat has already been confirmed.

So one brother is in BJP and the other will be in the TDP. Kiran Kumar was in hibernation for a long time and sometimes he was seen driving his Scorpio vehicle on his own,
