Kumara Gowda has taken over as the CM of Karnataka. Parameshwar took oath as Deputy CM.

The stage was set for the swearing in of Kumara Swamy Gowda as the CM of Karnataka this evening. AP CM Chandrababu Naidu and West Bengal CM Mamatha have arrived for the function. Gowda said that all the promises made to the people will be implemented in toto.

Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, Tejeshwar Yadav, Sharad Pawarwere present at the oath-taking ceremony.

Celebrations were seen at the JDs party office and also at Gowda’s residence. The G Parameshwara the man who is supposed to be the deputy CM from the Congress party said that he never expected the same but the high command considered his name for the post. Two more manes are also in circulation for the Deputy CM post.

The BJP leaders termed this swearing-in as an unholy alliance and they are protesting the day as anti-peoples mandate day.

JDS leaning towards Congress

Mamatha and babu said that in future the regional parties will come together and fight against the partisan attitude of the Centre. They are here to show the strength of opposition and also solidarity to Gowda and JDS.

BJP leader Yedurappa who resigned in two days said that this unholy nexus will not continue even for 3 months and that Gowda will be in trouble.

On the other hand, KCR who supported Gowda was there with him yesterday and congratulated the Gowdas. He was earlier there for advocating a front against the Congress and BJP.

But the scenario is that Congress is required to form the front. Akhilesh and Maya, Sharad Pawar, Yechury and others are also expected to join the front and an entire opposition can only trounce the BJP in the future.
