The business interests and the common friends have forced Nagarjuna to join the politics it looks like. His father Akkineni Nagaeshwara Rao was lured by all the political parties earlier, but a shrewd and calculated man did not join any party , but used the party in power to his advantage.
But Nagarjuna has friends like Nimmagadda Prasad and also Vijay Sai reddy who have some common interests and they have cajoled him it looks like. Earlier they had an English paper called Postnoon and it was printed at Sakshi press owned by Jagan.
Now rumors are abuzz that Akkineni Nagarjuna will be making his foray into politics. It’s been reported by a section of media that Tollywood King is likely to join YSR Congress Party. The idea is to put Nag against Gall Jaydev the relative of Mahes Babu the Tollywood prince it is reported. So far Nag has not confirmed. But as such his films are not doing well and he might have thought that he would put his sons in the movies and try his luck with the politics.
Even conclusions has been reached by the media that Nag has made necessary arrangements to officially be a YCP Member sooner or later.
Actually, Nagarjuna is never interested in Politics. He even suggests his family members to keep themselves away from politics. He would have contested for MP or MLA seat on Congress ticket in 2009 Polls if he is really interested in Politics.
But, The Actor chose not to take such a path though he maintained good relations with former CM late YSR. Stand taken by Nag doesn’t change even after many years & his fans were happy about it.
But Nagarjuna has to confirm whether this speculation is right. They all have common business interests, but it has to be seen if this would turn into a political interest.
