Kesineni Nani the TDP MP has refused to accept the parliamentary party whip post offered by the TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu. The TDP chief who held the meeting of the parliament members yesterday offered the post of the chief whip to Nani, but Nani has refused the same by making a posting in the facebook. The very fact that he did not talk to the party chief directly shows that Nani is looking at the BJP. Nani who was in the transport business has met Nitin Gadkari the Transport minister earlier. It is reported that from that Nani has been in touch with the BJP leaders.
There is a chance that Nani might get in touch with Amit Shah and join the BJP soon. On the other hand, Kanna Lakshminarayana the BJP chief from AP said that many TDP leaders are looking to join the BJP as the TDP has lost its hold here. Chandrababu Naidu wanted Nani to be the whip of the TDP in the parliament. There are MPs who are having various business interests in the state of AP and now they are looking at the BJP and YSRC.
It is learnt that even JC Diwakar Reddy and his son are warming up to the YSRC chief Jagan Mohan Reddy from the back door. But the TDP chief Chandrababu is yet to react over the matter. It has to be seen how far the TDP chief will be able to hold the group together. There are just a few MPs in the TDP kitty and one or two might join the BJP for the sake of enjoying power. Its tough time for the TDP.
