The Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) leaders are claiming that the party will soon become the national alternative to the Congress, while AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal will become the principal challenger to the BJP.

Political analysts are of the opinion that AAP will become a challenger to the BJP in place of the Congress party and that Kejriwal will be the contender for the PMs post.

Expressing his happiness over the party’s landslide victory in Punjab, Kejriwal said: “Today, the AAP has come on the national stage and it has emerged as a national force.” Claiming that it will also win the next Assembly polls, he added, “Like, in Delhi, the people voted for AAP’s government by electing Arvind Kejriwal.

The public of Delhi say ‘I love you, Kejriwal’. In the same way, the people of Punjab have voted for AAP once and I am confident that the people of Punjab in every election will say ‘I love you, Bhagwant Mann’ and ‘I love you, Arvind Kejriwal’.

The people will forget all these traditional parties and leaders and their shops will stand shut.” Now the elections are due in Gujarat in December.

After a landslide victory, in 5 states PM Modi is already starting the campaign in Gujarat. It has to be seen how far the AAP will be able to make a dent into the Modis prestige.

KCR who is trying to form a National alternative to the BJP will now meet Kejriwal for the future course of action.
