K Chandrasekhar Rao the CM of Telangana today worshipped at the Godavari Pushkar Ghat near Kaleshwarm project. He worshipped at the Ghat when the priests recited the Vedic mantras here.
He was accompanied by the Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar. He entered the waters near the Pushkar ghats and sprinkled the waters on him after the prayers.
TRS MP Joginapally Santosh Kumar also accompanied him along wiht some local lawmakers. Tight security was in place for his visit to the Pushkar Ghat.
The district collector was also present here to receive the KCR. KCR reached Kaleshwaram project in a special chopper. KCR also performed Pooja here at the Mukteeswar Swamy Temple. Later he will go to Lakshmi Barrage.
After the completion of the visit to Kaleshwaram, KCR is expected to address the media here.
KCR was overwhelmed after seeing the waters and barrages here at the Kaleshwaarm from the Ariel view. He was accompanied by the Minister for Health in the Chopper. The CS also participated in the Archana at the Mukteswara Temple.
