K Chandrasekhar Rao the CM of Telangana today worshipped the Sammakka and Saralakka here at Medaram. He was accompanied by the TRS MP Santosh Kumar Joginapally and Ministers Satyavathi Rathods, Indrakran Reddy and Errabellly Dayakar.
Before coming to the Gadde CM KCR had an ariel survey of the area of the Jathara hovering in the helicopter. KCR also offered Jaggery to the deities here on the occasion and prayed that the people of Telangana should be happy with rains and crops.
KCR on his own broke the coconut here.
Unprecedented bundobust arrangements were made here at the Jathara area for the Chief Minister. The CM was happy to note that the festival was being celebrated without using any plastic or plastic covers here.
The media had a tough time in controlling the mobs around KCR here at the Jathara. He also offered money into the Hundi apart from giving Sarees to Ammavaru.
KCR is a firm believer in God. The Jathara popular as Telangana Kumbh Mela was improved and amenities were developed ever since the TRS Government came into power.
KCR took a keen interest in developing the surroundings also for the Jathara. Funds were also allocated from the Government side. This year more than a crore of pilgrims are expected for the Jathara finally.
