In the ongoing war between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) over the scrapped liquor policy, BJP MP Parvesh Verma dragged Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and his family into the matter and levelled several accusations.
Verma claimed that KCR’s family members attended meetings on the policy’s formulation at a five-star hotel in the national capital.
The BJP leader claimed that Telangana has a “similar” excise policy and it has been implemented in West Bengal too.
“CM K Chandrashekar Rao’s family members attended meetings on the formulation of the Delhi excise policy at a hotel. They prepared a plan for Delhi along with Manish Sisodia and Arvind Kejriwal,” Verma said.
“KCR’s daughter K Kavita acted as a broker and she had brought many members of the liquor mafia to meet Sisodia, stated Verma .
