KTR clarified that he has no intention of taking over as the CM of Telangana. It is reported that he talked to a few close friends and also the media informally that KCR would rule the state for another twenty years and that there was no way he would be taking over.
He said that people are spreading rumours for no reason ad that there could be vested interests also behind this.
The latest talk and gossip within the TRS circles is that KCR would step down as the chief minister by Dasara and promote his son K Taraka Rama Rao as the chief minister.
KCR will float a new party called BRS that is Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi for entering the National politics.
CM KCR who is a very senior politician does not want to travel on the two boats and play a double role both in national and regional politics.
There are assumptions that KCR would head the BRS and operate from Delhi, while leaving the TRS and Telangana state to his son KTR.
The opinion of a Telangana minister that KCR would enter national politics by Dasara has lent credence to this speculation that he would move to Delhi after making KTR his successor in power in Telangana.
