Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar has sought the appointment of Prime Minister Modi, for inviting him to launch the prestigious Kaleshwaram project. KCR was supposed to go to Delhi today, but he is yet to get the call from the Prime Ministers office.
At the same time, KCR has decided not to attend the Niti Ayog meet. Earlier KCR attended the meeting and made some suggestions to Prime Minister Modi and also other Chief Ministers.
On the other hand, Jaganmohan Reddy the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh is attending the meet for the first time and wanting to make his presence felt here.
KCR as such is tied up with various activities in the state of Telangana. He wants to make kaleshwaram function a big success and on the sidelines of the launch, he has also arranged a mammoth public meeting. He wants the people to know about the project and the way it has been executed.
Right now the BJP is not bothered about any of the Chief Ministers as they have got enough numbers of their own. They dont require any support as such. Now they are bothered about increasing the tally in Rajyasabha. The BJP is looking at the 6 MPs of the TDP in RS.
If KCR gets the Delhi call he will meet PM Modi and impress upon him to attend the launch of Kaleshwaram. About a lakh of crores has been spent on the project. Chief Ministers Fadnavis and Jaganmohan Reddy are attending the launch of Kaleshwaram.
During the elections, KCR made statements that the BJP will not get the majority and then the TRS would play a key role in forming the Government at the centre. That is the reason there is some gap between the BJP and the TRS now.
