CM K Chandrasekhar Rao today visited the LB stadium and has supervised the arrangements for the World Telugu meet. He went around the stadium along with the officials and suggested some changes here and there.
The Telangana government has decided to organise the proposed five-day ‘World Telugu Conference’ from December 15 in the city.
The conference would be held in LB Stadium as the main venue. Ravindra Bharathi, Indira Priyadarshini Auditorium, Lalitha kala Thoranam, Nizam College Grounds, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, PingleVenkatramreddy Hall, Shilpa Kala Vedika will host the other programmes.Literary events will be held during the day and cultural programmes will be held in the evening.
Dance by Gonds, Kolatam, Perini performances, songs like Kalupu, Naatu and Bathukamma, entertainment programmes will be the part of the cultural programmes. The relationship between Tanishah and Ramadasu, RamadasuPadakeerthanalu, ThandananaRamayanam, Saradakars, Harikatha recital will also be performed. Arrangements would be made for recitation of poems, film light music programmes Cine Vibhavari. The folk songs of the rural region will also be organised at the programmes.
