Republic Day Celebrations were held at Pragathi Bhavan with patriotic fervour and gaiety. Chief Minister Sri K Chandrashekhar Rao has unfurled the national flag.
The CM paid floral tributes to the photographs of Mahatma Gandhi, Architect of the Indian Constitution Dr B R Ambedkar.
Several public representatives, CS, DGP, CMO officials and other government higher officials participated in the Republic Day Celebrations.
Later at the Parade Grounds, at Army Memorial, CM KCR paid floral tributes to the martyred army personnel by lighting a lamp.
Minister for Home Mahmood Ali and KKeshava Rao the Secretary-General of the TRS unfurled the National Flag here at the TRS Bhavan this morning.
Some part functionaries participated in the event.
