Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandrasekhar Rao who is in Delhi will be meeting the Prime Minister Narendra Modi first and then he will meet the Minister for Home Amit Shah next.
This is the first time he will be meeting the PM after coming to power for the second time in the state with an absolute majority. CM KCR met the PM 9 months ago. But he was in touch with the BJP Chief and Home Minister Amit Shah when the parliament was in session from time to time.
BJP chief and Minister for Home Amit Shah has been talking to KCR now and then for seeking the support and passing the bills in the parliament and that bridged the gap.
Now the chief minister wants to keep Prime Minister Modi informed about the future developments in Telangana. He will be talking to Modi especially on the financial front. The so-called slow down in the economy is going to make a lot of difference to the centre and also the state.
The Chief Minister will also talk to the PM on the interlinking of Godavari and Krishna rivers. Apart from this there could be some discussion on the political front also.
Former MP Vinod Kumar and RS member Santosh Kumar are accompanying KCR to Delhi. KCR would discuss on Kaleswaram project and would ask for around RS 60000 crore for interlinkage of the rivers.
On the other hand, AP CM Jagan will be meeting the Prime Minister on 5th that is Saturday. He will be talking about various projects to be taken up in the state. Jagan will seek funds for various ongoing projects and will explain the linkage of Godavari and Krishna rivers a proposal made by the Telangana CM KCR.
Both the CMs of the Telugu states will be meeting one after the other.
