The CEC has given a clearance to the state Government for announcing the PRC in the state of Telangana. The KCR government has sought the permission of the Chief Election Commissioner as the Nagarjunasagar election rules are in place.
The Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao earlier told the Assembly that an announcement on the Pay Revision Commission (PRC) recommendations for government employees will be made in the next couple of days.
He said the announcement will be made in the Assembly after the results of elections to two Legislative Council seats are declared.
The Chief Minister assured the government employees that the PRC implementation will meet their expectations. “In fact, Telangana government employees will feel proud to be among the highest-paid in the country,” he said.
There is a chance that the CM might announce the PRC in Assembly on Monday as the sessions will be closed at the earliest to avoid the Corona conditions.
