Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandrasekhar Rao is a social Engineer praised Minister for major irrigation Harish Rao. Speaking in meeting today at the Institue of Engineers on irrigation and development, Harish said that KCR knows the nitty gritties of irrigation and agriculture and that is the reason he could redesign the projects and also get the permission at the earliest.
Lakhs of acres are being irrigated and several irrigation projects are being implemented under the dynamic leadership of KCR he said. He also complimented that the officials of the irrigation department are doing a great job. Wherever there is water there is prosperity and development Harish Rao stated.
With Mission Kakatiya the ground waters have increased and all other states are taking the cue from Telangana Harish explained. The water management is being done in a pucca manner and there will be no water problems for the crops he assured. The water will be made available to the tail ends for the irrigation at any cost and not a single drop will be wasted he stated.
Since last four years the policymakers, the officials are working as a team and we are achieving great results said Harish. Mission Kakatiya has stabilised around 12 lakh acres of agriculture he explained. He also complimented the women engineers that they were doing an excellent job for the development of Telangana.
