KCR reviews power’’ in Delhi

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has reiterated that Telangana State should become a power surplus state by completing all the proposed thermal power plants on a fast track. The CM wanted BHEL, which took the responsibility of construction of thermal power plants, should speed up its work.

The CM held a review meeting on the Thermal Power Plants in the state in New Delhi in which Energy Minister Sri Jagdeesh Reddy, BHEL Chairman Sri Atul Sobti, Genco CMD Sri D Prabhakar Rao, Transco ED Sri Ajay, Government’s Chief Advisor Sri Rajiv Sharma, Principal Secretary to CM Sri S Narsing Rao, MPs Sri Gutha Sukhender Reddy, Ajmera Sitaram Naik, Sri P Srinivas Reddy, Government’s Representative Sri S Venugopalachary participated.

 KCR reviews power’’ in Delhi

The CM instructed that the 800 MW thermal power plant being constructed in Yadadri Kothagudem district should be completed at end of the year. He also wanted 1080 MW Bhadradri Thermal Power Station (BTPS) in Manuguru should also be completed on a fast track.

The CM wanted works should begin on 4000 MW Yadadri Ultra Mega Power project at Damaracharla and the project should be completed within 36 months.
