KCR presents Mukkera to Kanakadurgamma

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao along with his family members visited the Kanakadurga Temple in Vijayawada at about 1 pm. He was accorded a grand reception at the temple with poornaKumbham and nadaswaram. He was accompanied by his wife, and his grandson Himanshu and other family members.

Telangana Minister for endowments Indrakaran Reddy and Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy and MP K Kesava Rao were also present. KCR carried the Mukkera (Nose ring) for Kanakadurgamma and presented it for getting statehood to Telangana.

Mahila Commission Chairman from AP Nannapaneni Rajakumari was also seen. She presented a shawl to the wife of KCR.

Devineni Uma the Minister for irrigation from AP received KCR with all the protocol formalities. Heavy bundobust arrangements were made on the arrival of KCR and his family to the temple. It was a rousing traditional temple welcome for KCR. The Temple was also decorated with various kinds and colours of flowers.

KCR carried the Mukkera in a silver plate on his head and he was garlanded by the purohits. Himanshu the son of KTR was seen in a Pink kurta and attracted peoples attention. The security had a tough time in controlling the crowd. Purohits blessed the KCR and his family members. Prasadam and a photo along with fruits were presented to KCR here in the temple.
