CM K Chandrasekhar Rao thanked the opposition for making the Speaker election unanimous in the Assembly. He praised the efforts of Pocharaman Srinivas reddy as the Minister for agriculture. He said that Pochaam as the minister for agriculture has won national and international acclaim with his schemes in Telangana.
He opined that as speaker of the Assembly also he would do a commendable job. KCR reminded that they called Pocharam as Lakshmi Puturudu meaning son of Lakshmi Devi. Earlier KCR and Uttam Kumar took Pocharium to the Speaker seat and made him sit on the seat.
MLA Padma Devednar also praised the efforts of Pocharam in winning the earlier elections. Like Agriculture, she was hopeful that Pocharam will be able to improve the working pattern and decorum of the Assembly. She reminded that earlier he could satisfy the members in the Assembly with his answers as Minister.
Srinivas Goud said that the entire Telangana was happy with the appointment of Pocharam as the speaker on a unanimous basis. He thanked all of them for their cooperation in making Pocharam as the speaker.
