Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao today planted saplings in 4 areas of Siddipet along with Minister Harish Rao and encouraged people to participate in the Haritha haram for the betterment of the environment. He was dressed in a hat and a green scarf around his neck walked hand in hand with people and planted saplings.
This is part of 101116 being planned for the day by the Minister Harish Rao. There was a lot of enthusiasm of the public at pragnapur and other places and KCR was very much enthused by the response.
He also watered several plans en route his tour. He travelled in the bus one place to other and encouraged people to plant saplings. Some police personnel and also officials participated in the Haritha Haram along with the Chief Minister.
The deputy CM kadiyam Srihari participated in the Haritha Haram at Warangal. He said that this is for our future that we should protect the environment said Srihari. He distributed Prizes to school children who participated in the Haritha Haram and planted the saplings in their surroundings apart from creating the awareness.
