Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has paid rich homage to the police personnel who were martyred while discharging their duties. The CM recalled the services rendered by the police on the occasion of the Police Commemoration Day.
The CM said the people and the country will never forget the supreme sacrifices done by the police martyrs for the protection of lives and properties of the citizens.
He wanted the police force to rededicate itself to the lofty ideals shown by the martyrs and for the maintenance of peace, order and harmony of the society. The CM recalled that the Telangana state government is giving highest priority to the welfare of members of the martyred families.
On the other hand, the salaries and facilities of the police have improved to a larger extent after the TRS came into power. A command control tower is coming up at the Banjarahills where the entire state would be wired and the CC cameras would be in place to be monitored from Hyderabad. Thousands of crores are being spent to construct and develop this command control centre.
