KCR pays rich tributes to Karunanidhi

Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandrasekhar Rao reached Chennai and paid rich tributes to the Kaliagnar the chief of DMK M Karunanidhi. He said that Karunanidhi is a tall leader who fought for the rights and lives of the downtrodden.

He also met Stalin the son of Karunanidhi and expressed his heartfelt condolences. KCR praised Karunanidhi as a great writer and also an orator who could shake the people and convince the people with his speeches.

He raised his fist to the people of Tamilnadu who gathered at the hall before paying tributes. Stalin was with KCR.

It may be recalled that earlier KCR visited Karunanidhi and met him on the formation of the federal front recently. KCR met Kanimozhi and Stalin also during that time along with Karunanidhi and impressed upon them the need to form a federal front against the Congress and also BJP.

The DMK leaders said that they would discuss the matter and come back to KCR over the matter. KCR was accompanied by the Parliament members from TRS including Kavitha the MP from Nizamabad who is the daughter of KCR.

MP Jitendar reddy also praised that Karunanidhi could guide the party for about 50 years and still had control over the party at the age of 94. Leaders like Mamatha, Akhilesh were also seen finding it difficult to reach Karunanidhi in Rajajihall.

Mild lathi charge was done by police at Rajaji hall as the crowds surged towards the dead body to have a glimpse of the leader Karunanidhi. The body was draped in tricolour and the DMK part flag was kept on the other side.
They were dispersed to the other end with great difficulty.
