KCR pays rich tributes to Ambedkar

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao paid rich tributes to Dr BR Ambedkar on his death anniversary. The CM recalled the yeoman services rendered by Dr Ambedkar to the country. The CM said Dr Ambedkar’s philosophy, thoughts and lofty ideals continue to inspire and give strength to people in the country.

He said the Telangana State government had taken up several programmes and initiated many welfare measures in tune with the Dr Ambedkar’s philosophy.

December 6, 2020 marks the 64th death anniversary of Dr Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar also known as Babasaheb Ambedkar, the chief architect of the Indian Constitution. B R Ambedkar breathed his last on December 6, 1956 in his sleep and people pay their tributes to him on this day every year which is observed as the Mahaparinirvana Diwas.

Dr Ambedkar was born on April 14, 1891. He was the first Minister of Law and Justice of India from August 29, 1947 to October 6, 1951 and the principal architect of the Constitution of India, the biggest and most complex constitution in the world.

Due to this he is also known as the Father of the Indian Constitution. Ambedkar was a jurist, legal luminary and a professional economist. He established the Finance Commission, Reserve Bank of India runs on guidelines and ideas formed by Dr B R Ambedkar.
