KCR pays rich tributes at Martyrs memorial

Telangana Cheif Minister K Chandrashekar Rao offered floral tributes to Telangana martyrs at Gun Park memorial on the occasion of Telangana formation day on June 2.

Telangana CM KCR offered tributes at Telangana Martyrs’ Memorial in Gun Park and later unfurled the national flag at Pragathi Bhavan. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the state formation day celebrations are low key affairs this year.

Chief Secretary SomeshKumar, TRS Secretary-General K Kesava Rao, MP Santosh Kumar and others were present here at the Pragati Bhavan.

Some MPs, MLAs and MLCs were also present during the flag hosting ceremony.

Telangana, the 29th state of the country which formed on 2nd June 2014 after vigorous protests and many sacrifices. During the 7years of state formation, Telangana witnessing immense growth in every sector and standing as a role model to every state in the nation.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao extended greetings to the people on the occasion of eight Telangana Formation Day (June 2). CM KCR said that we achieved the Telangana State with many battles, sacrifices and martyrdom in a parliamentary democratic way. he further added that the state government is fulfilling the objectives of the separate Telangana statehood agitation.

“Telangana pays homage to the martyrs of Statehood movement through comprehensive development of all sections of people. In the last seven years, the State excelled to become the pride of nation and serve as a role model to other Indian States! Happy 8th State Formation Day!” KCR stated.
