Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao met Honourable Union Minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs Shri Arun Jaitley andHonourable Union Minister for Home Affairs Shri Rajnath Singh separately in New Delhi on Sunday.
CM thanked the Union Minister Rajnath Singh for taking steps for approval of newly formed Zonal system in Telangana. CM also discussed on other issues related to the State.
CM also met Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and submitted three Letters. CM requested to release Rs 450 Crore towards fourth instalment of Special Assistance for the development of backward districts in Telangana State under the AP Reorganization Act, 2014 under the Backward Regions Grant Fund (BRGF).
CM requested for raising the annual borrowing limit for the state by an additional 0.50% of GSDP as recommended by the Fourteenth Finance Commission and to release interest subvention from Government of India towards the SHG Bank linkage programme.
