This is one of the best schemes that I have taken up for the people of Telangana said, K Chandrasekhar Rao, the CM of Telangana. This is the Rythu Bandhu scheme. The Telangana Government has tied up with LIC and insured the lives of the farmers where they would get Rs 5 lakhs as insurance in just 5 days of an eventuality.
He thanked and complimented the LIC for the same. KCR talked about the plight of the farming community and said that the Government was making all-out efforts to save the farmers from the brokers.
The pressuring is mounting on all other governments for the sake of these schemes being implemented by the TRS government he said. Once we connect with Kaleshwaram there will be no problem at all KCR assured the farming community. He was talking to the farmers here at the HICC convention hall.
I want to live and see the scene where we have water for the 365 days in the lakes and canals KCR said. Why depend on bore well he questioned? Why should the opposition criticise this scheme he said. I will take the farmer insurance KCR said for his personal sake. This will benefit all the farmers he said.
The farmers should be able to live on his own, finance his crops and get remunerative prices he said. The Agriculture Department will handle the Rythu Bheema scheme and the nominee will get the insurance amount he assured. The scheme will be implemented from August 15nth. Our agriculture produce must be in demand and we must get the remunerative price he said.
We must grow the crops which have great demand and we must be able to dictate the price he said.
