AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi praised that K Chandrasekhar Rao is the right chief Minister for the state of Telangana. KCR is the future leader for South India he opined.
KCR alone can tackle the Bharatiya Janata Party he exuded confidence. Losing some seats in the GHMC elections is nothing he opined. This shows that Owaisi is ready to support TRS for the Mayoral post in Hyderabad.
Owaisi could retain his leadership in the old city with 44 seats. He lost two seats in his area and got the same in other area and the tally is the same.
But it was tough for the MIM in some areas. The MIM cadre rigged the votes in some areas in the last one hour which gave them the edge on BJP.
Owaisi said that the MIM has won seats in the areas campaigned by Yogi Adityanath and also Amit Shah. BJP wanted to do surgical strikes, but we have done a democratic strike Owaisi explained.
There are rumours and beliefs that Owaisi is friendly with KCR here in Telangana and he contests elections for dividing the votes in favour of BJP in the North areas.
The Congress loses in the process and the contest of the AIMIM helps the BJP to win the elections in many seats. Now with the Saffron surge in Telangana it has to be seen how far the TRS and MIM will be able to stop the onslaught of the saffron party here.
